My life in the digital world

I spend my time in the digital world watching YouTube, Netflix, T.V, Laptop.
and playing Minecarft, go on the App store. and going on TiK ToK, Facebook, Manganese.  

My Holiday

In the holidays two days before school started my mum, dad, sisters, brother and I went to G.I  town center for lunch.

It took us ten minutes to walk there. We went past K.F.C, McDonalds, pizza-hut and a lot of takeaway shop. 

We stopped by a two dollar shop. We went in and I got this Lego person. He was a character off Lego Bionicle. Then we went back home. Once we got home all we did was sit down and watch F.B.I cases.

 The next day on Sunday my brother, sister, cousin 
and I went outside to play tag. I was in. We played tag for about a half an hour. Then we had to go to bed.

On Monday it was the first day back at school.
it was fun and cool because we all had a good day.

The Night I Was Left At School

Introduction
It was a sunny day at school. I had just finished my art in my classroom. I had forgotten that I had left my homework book in the classroom. I`ll catch up. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to get my book from my classroom. My classroom was about 10 minutes away. When I came back my friends were gone and the gate was locked.     

Problem
 I was banging on the gate screaming "Help help somebody!'' 15 minutes later, it got cold so I smashed the class room window and then a storm came. I got tape from the back of my teachers room. Then I locked all the doors. Then the ground shook. "Oh no this is going to be bad." I said while the ground shook. Half of the classroom was pulled underground...

This is what I know about Maori past times.

My best holiday

On the last day of the holidays my mum, dad, sisters, brothers and I went to the pools to have fun.

We had fun while we swam and played. I had fun in the pool when I slid down the slide. I jumped off the side of the deep end of the pool I almost drowned. 

After that we went to get something to eat from the bakery.
We had chicken wings and chips, fish and we had 7 up drinks. Our lunch was so yummy.

After lunch we played at the park I played on the      

monkey bars.  

Remembering Spring

On a good spring day 
my feet remember the soft grass between my toes,
my legs remember stretching out on the soft dirt,
my body remembers kicking back,
my arms remember cartwheels around the bushes,
my hands remember playing in the mud, 
my face remembers falling face first in the lake,
my mind remembers fishing on a good spring day
and soon spring will be back again.

Craig and the sister-catcher

Craig invented a sister-catcher because his little sister had a bad habit of coming into his room and annoying him. He made door nets and he clipped the door net onto the door. Georgia his sister could open the door and talk but could not enter the room.Craig and 540 kids entered the young inventors competition. He won the competition and he was surprised.
He just loved inventing new things.

In the story Papa Asa is teaching his children how to do freestyle swimming. He asked them to 

stretch out and make a cup shape with the palm of their hand and kick. After that the kids get into the pool and practice their freestyle swimming.

 The plane was noise because the engine  was   noisy.

How to draw a portrait

I am going to explain how to draw a portrait.

First you need to draw an oval.

Next you need to draw lines through the middle from the top to the bottom.

Then you draw lines through the middle from the left to the right.

Draw another line between the middle line and the bottom.

After that draw the eyes on the middle line.

Then draw the mouth on the bottom line.

The nose should be drawn on the middle line that goes from the top to the bottom.

Finally you can draw your hair.

That is how you draw a portrait.

All About Me

Hi my name is Jamayne and I am nine years old. I`m a year 6 student and  half Maori and half Fijian. I came to Ruapotaka School from Waihi, a small town in Waikato.

I have brown eyes and I have black hair.

I have eight people that live with me, my parents and four brothers and sisters. The food that I like is K.F.C. I do not like broccoli. I love swimming because I can swim now. I can do forward flips and I can run fast. I am good at freestyle.

My goals for 2018 is to get better at my maths, writing and spelling.
